First herbs in newly weeded garden bed

I recently got a couple of the local lads who live just up the street to do some weeding for me

They did such an exceelllent job .They were really hard workers and had a lovely positive attitude and between them

seemed to make really  short work of the weeding I needed done . The lads  were keen to earn some extra cash with

their   goal to save money for the upcoming medieval faire down on the coast .

They managed to clear  one complete garden bed finding quite a few  sweet potatoes in the process but I now have a

one garden bed ready for planting and the other already chokkas with vegs and herbs and flowers

So far I myself have planted mint, vietnamese mint, chocolate mint ,basil and lemon thyme and now my thoughts turn to preparing the soil  in the vacant garden bed to plant some vegs …also need to get a compost bin and want to put a pansy border in as well .

Already planted out the back  before I got here were tomatoes, pawpaws, lemons ,limes ,lavender thyme oregano and rosemary onion chives and a variety of mints chrysanthenums and nasturtiums

The boys also did an excellent job of cleaning up the front yard  deweeding the front garden which is  cultivated mainly as an australian native garden  with bright yellow kangaroo paw and a beautiful salmon coloured grevillias hedge  and a variety of  ferns daisies , agapanthus and  bush orchids

Thanks Boys  for your hard work !!
